Semiya fruits custard recipe || How to make vermicelli fruits custard
Fruit custard is always made but I am going to make a change in it, I will make it by adding vermicelli in it. Adding vermicelli makes it taste even more delicious. It is mostly made in summer. This dessert tastes very tasty to eat during summers. It is served cold, so eating it in summer is a different pleasure, so let us know how to make it......
Sevai Fruit Custard | Seviyan fruit custard
INGREDIENTS
- Vermicelli - ½ cup (3 tbsp)
- Milk - 1 litre( ½ Litre for semiya cooking,½ Litre for chilled milk)
- Chopped fruits - ½ cup each
- (Pomegranate, banana, apple,Grapes green and black, papaya etc.....)
- Sugar - 6 tbsp
- (3 tbsp for semiya and 3 tbsp for cold milk)
- Custard Powder - 1½ tbsp
- Chopped cashewnuts and chopped almonds (optional)
PREPARATION METHOD
- First of all pour ½ liter milk in a vessel
- Add 3 tablespoons of sugar to milk
- Now boil the milk for 10 minutes
- Cool this milk to room temperature
- Now keep it in the freezer for 45 minutes
- Heat the pan, add 1 tablespoon ghee
- Add vermicelli and fry for 2 minutes or until it changes colour
- Add 1 glass of water and cook semiya for 5 to 10 minutes
- Now add ½ liter boiled milk and cook until the semiya becomes soft.
- Mix custard powder in ½ cup of water
- Mix this custard powder mixture into cooked vermicelli
- Keep stirring while adding the custard powder mixture.
- Cook for 2 minutes or until thickened
- Now put this cooked vermicelli in cold milk.
- Now add chopped fruits and mix everything well.
- - Keep this custard in the fridge again for 1 hour.
- Serve chilled semiya fruit custard after 1 hour.
- Before serving add chopped cashewnuts and chopped almonds (optional)
- Notes :- Don't add sour fruits like orange,strawberry, pineapple etc...
