Sambar Recipe for idli vada
INGREDIENTS
- Arhar (तुवर दाल) - ½ Cup
- Onion (प्याज) chopped- 1
- Tomato puree (टमाटर) - 1½ Cup
- Turmeric (हल्दी )Powder- 1 teasp
- Coriander (धनियां) Powder- 1 teasp
- Red chilli (लालमिर्च) Powder- 1 teasp
- Ginger(अदरक) Chopped - 1 teasp
- Coriander leaves (धनियां पत्ता ) - ½ Cup
- Tamarind Pulp (इमली) - ½ Cup
- Salt (नमक) - 1 teasp
- Oil (तेल) - 1 tbsp
- Water (पानी) 1 Cup + 2 Cup Total - 3 Cup
TEMPERING INGREDIENTS
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Mustard seeds - ½ teasp
- Cumin seeds - ½ teasp
- Curry leaves - 10
- Dry chilli - 2
- Red Chilli Powder - ½ teasp
