Oats chilla || Oats breakfast

Oats are high in fiber and a healthy breakfast option if you are trying to lose weight or manage to control weight. This cheela is not only eaten as breakfast. You can also eat it for lunch or dinner.
So let's see how to make this healthy and delicious chilla.
PREPARATION METHOD
- First grind 1 cup of oats in a grinder jar
- Add chopped green chillies, ginger, salt, onion, coriander leaves, red chili powder and turmeric powder to the freshly ground oats.
- Now slowly add water to it and make a thin batter.
- Cover it, let it sit for 10 minutes
- Now open the lid, mix again properly
- It will be thicker than before
- Add ½ cup of water if required, Mix all well
- Heat a non-stick tawa, add 1 tbsp oil to it.
- Pour 1 ladleful of oats batter on the pan and spread it slowly.
- After cooking for 1 minute, Pour ½ to 1 teasp of oil
- Flip it on the other side.
- Bake properly on both the sides
- Serve this cheela with potato curry or peas potato curry
OATS CHILLA INGREDIENTS
- Oats - 1 ½ cup
- Green chilli - 2 chopped (finely)
- Ginger - 1 tbsp crushed
- Turmeric powder - 1 teasp
- Red chilli powder - ½ teasp
- Coriander leaves - ⅓ cup (finely chopped)
- Onion - 1 chopped (finely)
- Salt - 1 teasp
- Water - 3 to 4 cup

OATS CHILLA STEP BY STEP IMAGES

- Slowly add water to the mixture to make a thin batter. Cover the batter and let it sit for 10 minutes.
- Open the lid and mix again. Heat a non-stick tawa and add 1 tbsp oil to it. Pour 1 ladleful of oats batter on the pan and spread it slowly.
- After cooking for 1 minute, confidently pour 1 teaspoon of oil on top. Flip the dish carefully onto the other side and ensure that it is properly baked on both sides. Avoid rushing to flip it, as oats take some time to cook.
- Serve this chilla with potato curry or peas potato curry

- Don't be in a hurry to flip it as oats take some more time to cook.
