Aloo palak fry recipe | Spinach potato curry dry
Aloo palak fry is a delightful Indian side dish made with potatoes and spinach. This dry curry is not only delicious but also super healthy. It's quick and easy to prepare, and goes well with roti or rice. I've used minimal oil and spices, and if you're short on time, you can whip up this curry in just 5 to 7 minutes. I've used raw potatoes, but you can also use boiled ones. So Let's get started...
Palak Curry Dry
PREPARATION METHOD
- Wash spinach (palak) and cut into pieces
- Peel the potato, and cut it into small pieces
- Heat a kadhai pour 2 tbsp mustard oil
- Add cumin, dry chilli and chopped garlic
- Saute for 1 minute
- Add chopped onion, fry for 1 minute
- Put chopped potato fry for 1 minute
- Now add chopped palak and salt
- Mix everything well
- Close the lid, and cook for 5 minutes on low flame
- Open lid, add ½ tsp of red chilli powder
- Mix well
- Now ready to serve aloo palak

- Spinach (पालक) - 2 bundle
- Potato (आलू)- 1
- Onion (प्याज)- 1
- Garlic chopped (लहसून)- 5
- Dry red chili (लाल मिर्च)- 1
- Cumin seeds (जीरा)- 1 teasp
- Oil (तेल)- 2 tbsp
- Salt (नमक)- 1 teasp
- Red Chili powder (मिर्च पाउडर ) - ½ teasp

Note -: If you are using boiled potatoes, add both spinach and potatoes after frying the onions.
