Suji halwa recipe with step by step method
Suji halwa recipe is a unique and tasty recipe from India. It is prepared with suji rava along with sugar , ghee and dry fruits. This recipe specially made in navaratri kanyapujan puja.
So let's see how to make this delicious halwa...
PREPARATION METHOD
- Heat a pan ,add 2 tbsp of ghee
- Roast all dry fruits for 1 min
- Take it out from kadhai, keep aside
- Keep water for boil
- Now add suji, roast for 3 min or until slightly brown
- Now turn low flame, add sugar, cardamom powder and dry fruits
- Pour boiled water gradually
- Keep stirring while adding water
- After water absorbed, add remaining 2 tbsp of ghee and mix well
- Keep stirring till thick consistency or close lid and cook for 1 min on low flame
- Now ready to serve suji halwa or for puja prasad
- INGREDIENTS
- Suji - 1Cup (200g)
- Sugar - 1 Cup (150)g
- Water - 3 Cup (500ml)
- Ghee - ½ Cup
- DRY FRUITS
- Cashewnuts - ¼ Cup
- Almonds - ¼ Cup
- Raisins - ¼ Cup
- Cardamom Powder - 1 teasp
