BANANA CURRY
- PREPARATION METHOD
- Step :- 1
- Take 2 raw banana , wash it properly
- Peel thin skin from banana
- Cut into 1 inch thick round or square pieces
- Heat a pan pour 400ml of water ,add ½ teasp of turmeric in it
- Mix it well
- Add chopped banana pieces and stir
- Boil for 2 mins or until half boiled
- After boiled quickly transfer into another pan
- Step :- 2 Gravy masala Preparation
- Take ½ teasp of mustard seed ,½ teasp of Corianderseeds ,½ teasp of cuminseeds
- Roast for 1 min in a pan
- Transfer this into a chutney jar
- Add ½ chopped tomato in chutney jar
- Now grind into fine paste
- Step :- 3 Gravy Preparation & Cooking
- Heat a pan Add 2 tbsp oil
- Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds ⅓ teasp each
- Add green chili and curry leaves
- Saute for few seconds
- Add ginger garlic paste 1 teasp
- Stir for few seconds
- Now add grinded masala and chopped tomato
- Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, sabji masala and salt
- Mix everything well ,Close lid and cook for 3 mins on low to medium flame
- Add 1 cup of water and cook for 1 min
- Now add boiled banana and garam masala in it
- Mix well ,Cook 2 mins on low flame
- Now ready to serve with rice /Chapati

- Raw banana - 2
- Water - 400 ml

- Tomato ½ for gravy + ½ for paste
- Cumin seeds - ½ teasp
- Coriander Seeds - ½ teasp
- Mustard Seeds - ½ teasp
- For Gravy
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Cumin seed - ⅓ teasp
- Curry leaves - 6
- Green chili - 2
- Mustard seeds- ⅓ teasp
- Ginger garlic paste- 1 tbsp
- Water - 1 Cup
- Chili powder - 1 tbsp
- Turmeric Powder - ½ tbsp
- Sabji masala - 1 teasp
- Garam masala- 1 teasp
- Salt as per your taste
