Atta panjiri prasad || Janmashtami bhog atta panjiri
Janmashtami is an Indian Hindu festival. According to Hindu mythology, this day is the birthday of Lord Krishna. All Hindu devotees celebrate this day grandly. They decorate their house and offer various types of bhog to Lord Krishna. One of those bhog is panjiri, which is prepared with wheat flour, dry fruits, sugar and ghee.
One of the favorite bhog of Lord Shri Krishna is panjiri. So let's start the preparation.
Panjiri Prasad || Janmashtami Prasad
PREPARATION METHOD
- Heat a pan
- Add 1 tbsp of ghee
- Roast cashew nuts ,dry coconut pieces and almonds
- Chop almonds and cashew nuts into pieces
- After roasting , keep aside in a plate
- Put 1 tbsp remaining ghee and wheat flour
- Roast till aromatic on medium flame
- Don't burn atta (wheat flour)
- Keep roasted atta in a big plate
- Add roasted almonds, cashew nuts, dry coconut, sugar and cardamom powder
- Mix everything well
- Keep a tulsi (holybasil) leaf of bhog
- Now bhog is ready for puja

- Cardamom - 2 Chopped
