Making Palak Paneer in the traditional way is a bit difficult .The process of making it is a bit lengthy. I am going to make Palak Paneer in a new way, neither you have to boil spinach nor blanch it. You can make spinach by cutting it directly. It tastes better than it is traditionally made. So let's know how to make it .....
Preparation - Method
- Cut paneer into cube pieces
- Wash spinach with water, chop finely
- Heat 3 tbsp oil in a deep pan
- Fry chopped onion till golden brown
- Keep aside
- Now add bay leaves and ginger garlic paste, fry for few seconds
- Add chopped tomato, red chilli, turmeric powder, coriander powder and salt
- Cook on low flame for 2 minutes
- Now add chopped spinach
- Mix it well, cook for 2 minutes
- After spinach is cooked well, add butter and paneer (paneer)
- Mix it all together now
- Cook on low flame for 2 minutes
- In a bowl add ½ cup of milk , ½ cup of water and sugar
- Mix it well
- Now add this mixture into paneer
- Add garam masala
- Mix all well, cook for 1 minute on low flame
- Serve palak paneer with roti, rice, paratha or naan
