How to Make Soft idli from Idli rava | Idli recipe from rava

PREPARATION METHOD
- First, soak the black gram (urad dal) for 7 to 8 hours. Then, wash the idli rava two times in freshwater.
- After soaking, drain excess water from the urad dal and put it in a grinder jar.
- Add half a cup of water and make a smooth paste.
- Squeeze out the idli rava and combine it with the urad dal paste in a bowl. Mix properly and cover with a lid.
- Allow the batter to ferment for 10 to 12 hours in a warm place.
- After 12 hours, add salt to the batter and whisk it properly.
- Grease an idli stand with oil and fill the idli moulds with the batter.
- Pour water into an idli pot and boil for 2 minutes. Place the filled idli mould in the idli pot and steam on high flame for 5 minutes and then on low flame for another 5 minutes.
- After cooking, let the idlis sit for 10 minutes before opening the lid.
- Serve with coconut chutney.
