Curd rice is very tasty in summer and you also know that curd helps in keeping our body cool. So once you must try this curd rice.
Curd rice is one of the rice recipes from South India. It tastes sweet and sour. This recipe is made in various ways but I have made it easy. The rice that is used in this recipe should be slightly more cooked. In this you can make it from the leftover rice.
PREPARATION METHOD
- Put cooked rice in a bowl
- Add half a cup of water in the rice and mash it
- Add a cup of yogurt
- Mix all nicely
- Add half a cup of pomegranate and 1/2 cup of chopped grapes
- Add 1 teasp of salt
- mix it well
- Put a spoon of oil / ghee in a pan
- Add green chillies, cumin seeds, mustard seeds and curry leaves and cook for a minute
- Pour the prepared tempring in prepared curd rice
- Serve cold

- Cooked rice - 2 cups
- Curd - 2 cups
- Pomegranate - ½ cup
- Grapes - ½ cup
- Salt to taste
Tempering ingredients
- Oil / ghee 1 teaspoon
- Green chillies chopped 1
- Curry leaves 7
- Mustard Seeds 1 teaspoon
- Jeera 1 teaspoon (small)
