In this recipe main ingredient is flatten steam rice (Poha)along with peanuts ,some spices and herbs.Kanda means onion combined with Poha and other spices .
It is easy and quick to prepare . Prepare this recipe for breakfast or evening Snacks .
METHOD
- First Wash Poha two three times in cold water
- Soak for 2 to 3 mins
- Drain excess water
- Heat kadhai and add 2 tbs of oil (soyabean, sunflower)
- Roast peanuts for 1min
- Take it out from kadhai (pan)
- Put Mustard Seeds
- Put onion chopped and saute for 1 min
- Add green chillies , tomato chopped , turmeric powder ,salt , redchilli powder and curry leaves , coriander leaves with water
- Cook for 3 mins or until tomatoes soften
- Add washed Poha into it and mix well with all spices
- Saute for 1min
- Lastly add roasted peanuts , coriander leaves
- Serve as breakfast/Snacks as per your choice
