Suji (rava) Upma | How to make suji upma
Suji rava upma is a healthy, easy and nutritious southindian breakfast .You can prepare this recipe as breakfast or evening snacks. If you are plan to make it in early busy morning then, I will suggest you that, You should chop vegetables at night and keep it in refrigerator. It will save your time in busy morning .It is more tasty when it served with coconut chutney. You can check my COCONUT CHUTNEY recipe .

Sooji upma, Healthy Breakfast
PREPARATION METHOD
- Heat kadhai pour 1 tablespoon of oil
- Roast peanuts and keep it in another plate
- Add suji and roast for 2 mins on medium flame
- Place it on another plate
- Again pour 1 table spoon oil in same pan
- Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds
- Saute for few seconds
- Add chopped onion fry till slightly brown
- Add curry leaves and slited green chili
- Add chopped vegetables, put ½ teasp of salt in it
- Close lid cook till vegetables soften
- Add roasted suji ,roasted peanut and ½ teasp of salt . Mix with vegetables
- Add boiled water gradually ,keep stirring while adding water
- Close lid, cook for 2 mins on low flame
- Now suji upma ready to eat
- Serve with Coconut Chutney.

- Suji rava - 2 cup (250g)
- Carrot finely chopped - ¼ Cup
- Beans finely chopped - ¼ Cup
- Capsicum finely chopped - ¼ Cup
- Green peas - ½ Cup
- Onion chopped - 1
- Curry leaves - 10
- Green chili - 2 Slited
- Peanuts - ¼ Cup
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Salt - 1 teasp
- Cumin seeds - ¼ teasp
- Mustard seeds - ¼ teasp
- Boiled water - 4.5 cup (500ml)

- Keep stirring while adding water
- Finely Chop all vegetables
- Take just double amount of water from suji
