Indian Style Dal Palak Recipe
This Recipe is as Healthy as tasty. It is a Recipe of Redgram dal along with Spinach . It can be served with roti, rice, puri, chapati and any type of paratha and bread.

Turdal (Arhar) 1cup big
Tomato chopped 1big
100 g Spinach (palak)
1 tablespoon Red chilli powder
1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
Curry masala 1teasp
Garam masala 1teasp
1 tbs Gingergarlic paste
Onion chopped 1 big
2 tbs Oil Salt as per taste
2 cup Water
FOR TEMPERING
================
Mustard seeds 1/2 teaspoon
Cumin seeds 1/2teasp
2 Dry chilli
1 pinch (Hing) asafoetida
Dry chilli powder 1 /2teasp
METHOD
========
1.Wash dal 2 times and drain water, add water and 1/2teasp turmeric powder, salt,
2.Boil for 2 whistles or cook for 10 mins, otherside heat kadhai or pan add oil
3.After heating oil, add chopped onion, saute for1mins or fry till golden brown, then add Gingergarlic paste, fry for 30 sec
4.Then add chopped tomatoes and all spices, turmeric, red chilli, curry Masala. Close lid and cook for 5 mins in medium flame
5.Add chopped spinach (palak) cook for another five mins
6.After cooking spinach add boiled dal, don't boil over. Boil like show in the image. otherwise taste will be different
7.Mix well and cook for another 1 mins, lastly add garam masala, mix well Tempering,
8.heat oil in tempering pan, add all tempering ingredients into it, fry till little bit change in colour
9. Pour on dalpalak, now ready to serve
